Getting There

Location Map

Bronte is one of Sydney’s famous eastern suburbs beaches, only 10km from Sydney’s CBD and just 2km south of Bondi beach. The Bogey Hole Café is located on the southern side of the park opposite the small bus terminal.

By Foot

Bronte lies approximately midway between Bondi and Coogee beaches. The best way to reach the café on foot is to take the coastal walk from either Bondi or Coogee, enjoying the stunning coastal scenery along the way. The walk from either starting point will take about 40 minutes. Both Bondi and Coogee have frequent bus services from the city or Bondi Junction.

By Car and Parking

Bronte beach is most easily approached using Darley Road and Macpherson Street then Bronte Road. All day parking is available in the council car park for $12 per day or $8 for 2 hours and nearby street parking is metered 1 hour parking ($5.40 per hour). Unlimited street parking is available approximately 500m from the café.

By Public Transport

Bronte enjoys a regular 10 minute bus service (number 378) running from Central Railway via the Bondi Junction interchange. For timetables see www.sydneybuses.com.au. In summer, there is an additional bus service called the Beach Runner servicing Bondi, Bronte and Coogee beaches.
